They couldn't do that today because there are federal laws preventing manufacturers sponsoring shows where they own the product, including cable.
That's one of the things that doomed Sinclair's KidsClick block.
The best part, one of the ABC Family promos for the Rangers had a "brought to you by" end tag from a very certain toy company.
