as a non-binary person, I often opt out of taking up space in the trans community for a variety of reasons.

however, when I was told that my aggressive reduction would not be covered by insurance because it is "unnecessary" and "gender confirming" . . . I was put in my place.

I am saving up to schedule gender-confirming reduction surgery. Insurance does not cover these sorts of aggressive reductions.
