We have reached out to the inquiry, asking what measures are being taken to compensate the enormous emotional, logistical, and financial labour of "lived experience" contributors who rearranged their work and lives to attend.

At the moment, it appears, the answer is none (2/2).

The Lampard Inquiry have, with less than 48 hours notice, cancelled the hearing at which @stopoxevision.bsky.social were due to give evidence.

We will continue to support Stop Oxevision, to fight neglectful lived experience "involvement", and resist the privatisation of mental health (1/2).

She's reiterating our call for a National Oversight Mechanism to end preventable deaths.

i’m tired of researchers that still give big tech benefit of doubt. what more evidence do you need to accept the industry is only interested in profit maximisation, market domination & power accumulation at any cost (including human, societal and environmental)

i think the biggest public relations coup AI boosters scored was calling it “AI.” people genuinely think it is an intelligence, and that when they query it, it is providing reasoned answers

Survivors have been calling this surveillance out since the MINUTE oxevision got its claws into the nhs. They insist it’s not a replacement for in person care but it is sold as a money saver - and the only way it saves money is if it replaces in person care.

On Wednesday 14th May, the Lampard inquiry will hear evidence about EPUT’s use of Oxevision, with both Oxehealth and EPUT required to give oral evidence. A member of Stop Oxevision has also been called to provide oral evidence on behalf of the campaign.

The framed print of Minibeast the cat

Minibeast, a cranky, old, characterful cat who has a white neck and nose, a beautiful set of almond eyes and a two tone nose.

I learned tetrapak intaglio #printmaking first, then linocut. I find tetrapak much more fiddly and am less happy with my results (compared to lino.) This portrait of Minibeast felt like a triumph. I sketched her face from scratch and this print came out just right.
