Filip Turek claims the 1989 Velvet Revolution was a KGB conspiracy. Students were pawns, the dead martyr was staged, and Havel's presidency was scripted in Moscow. Great story. Except the evidence shows KGB agents were shopping during the and the StB was shredding docs in panic.

Filip Turek will NOT be nominated to the Czech govt—at least for now. After excusing himself from meeting President Pavel due to "acute back pain," Babiš removed him from the ministerial list. Convenient timing for someone who built a macho persona but now can't handle a meeting with the President.

The logic is actually very simple: The country can never be without a fully functioning government. And because a government cannot function without its Prime Minister, PM #Fiala needs to remain in power for now. Conversely, #Babiš cannot fully govern UNTIL his ministers are fully in place.

So, technically speaking, #Czechia has not one, but two Prime Ministers in this interim period: Outgoing PM #Fiala stays until a new government is fully in place, while PM #Babiš is now also in power. This is standard constitutional practice in Czechia, nothing unusual.

#Czechia has a new Prime Minister. Sticking to his earlier promise, Czech president Petr Pavel has just appointed Andrej Babiš as the new prime minister of Czechia. Ministers have to be appointed next, before the country officially gets a new government. Until that happens, PM Fiala stays as well.

Pavel has indicated he will most likely refuse Turek's nomination,but wanted to meet with him before. Turek's excuse is his "acute back pain"

The President of #Czechia Petr Pavel announces he will appoint Andrej Babiš, leader of the ANO party, Prime Minister of Czechia next Tuesday, December 9th. This follows Babiš's announcement today that he will hand over his agricultural conglomerate Agrofert in order to avoid a conflict of interest.

I know, I know! :) This was obviously exaggerated a lot! You know, as someone who comes from the region, I'd like to see us at our very best. So every time I hear about things such as meth labs, it obviously stings a bit. But then again, it makes for good (and a bit entertaining) content at least!:D

While "peace" negotiations continue, remember that Russia could simply stop the war at any time.

I mean, honestly. How much more pathetic can this disgusting human being get?
