"Ah, I see ye found MY white pebble house..."

The chosen of the many gods are taken to the black sands and rocky shores of a mythical Iceland and shacked up in groups based on the colour of pebble they were given. The Pike chose an empty sod house and couldn't fathom sharing it with anyone but Dog.
