About the presidency, Harry Truman famously said “the buck stops here.” Trump is trying to pass the buck and blame everybody but his administration for the DC plane crash. This is a time for consoling the families and investigating the cause of this tragedy, not shameful finger pointing.

No. Not at all. I just watched his press conference regarding the plane crash and absolutely lost it. I never cry over politics, but I can’t seem to stop.

It’s just over 48 hours into this new administration and I’m struggling, my friends. I worry for my teenage daughters. I worry for my students training to be teachers. I worry for society overall. And I worry about my own peace of mind. As much as I want to hide and avoid, I need to vent, too.

Just listened to another blame game and an argument break out about DEI and the fires on NewsNight. It is beyond disappointing. It’s ignorant. Are these politicians thinking rationally?

I’m seeing intros, so I’m jumping in. I’m Kristen. I’m a teacher of future teachers. I am heavily involved in DEI, social justice, and diversifying the teacher pipeline. I’m a mom of two teen girls, and far too many fur babies who I love to photograph. So glad to have found a positive place!!
