Among many other things to give him credit for, pretty notable how Jalen Hurts took total command very early on especially after a wild start and you could tell it first settled the offense down, then defense collected itself a bit. People have fun with his calmness but man did it seem to help here.

Reunion: The Chargers are signing their own former star WR Keenan Allen, one of the top FAs available, per me and @tompelissero.bsky.social. He recently visited and mutual interest was clear.

It’s a 1-yeal done by Zeke Sandhu and Damarius Bilbo of Klutch Sports.

The Rams and Pro Bowl RB Kyren Williams have agreed to terms on a big-time new extension, as he gets a 3-year deal worth $33M with $23M guaranteed, I’m told.

The deal done by agent Drew and Jason Rosenhaus locks up the young rusher who has eclipsed 1,100 yards last 2 seasons.

Since camp opened and especially after agent Drew Rosenhaus visited LMU to talk with execs about Kyren Williams’ extension, there had been a sense this was pretty close to done. Williams practiced in good faith and both sides were able to close for the lead RB.
