JK Rowling says "ha ha.. h-heh. I won! I won!" She sits alone in the dark, bathed in the late of her computer screen. We pull back to see her in a large dark empty room. She continues "I won." Seeing the full scope of her cavernous workplace, she appears small and alone. She says, once again, "I won..."

This is how I imagine JK Rowling when she posts.

There’s text: “tell us your deepest pains, and repeat them, repeat them again” referring to how the process of getting the diagnosis “gender dysphoria”, which in my country is mandatory to be eligible for trans healthcare, involves discussing trauma that is unrelated to gender identity (you are cross-examined and required to do many tests regarding mental health). There is more text. “Prove it. Prove it to us. How do you know? But are you sure?”This refers to the part of the process that’s incredibly painful, and felt for me like I had to prove time and time again that I know who I am, which frustrated me to no end, it felt infantilizing. The image was made out of frustration and pain I currently experience, waiting for trans healthcare.

I just want to live.

Anime style character design of a tsuyome gyaru lion vtuber. They've got brown skin and curly blonde hair with brown roots showing in the style of a big mane-like ponytail. Lion ears with piercings poke out of their big hair, and a matching lion tail swishes behind their body. Their outfit consists of a leopard print sleeveless crop top, dark, tiny ripped denim booty shorts with a large D.I.A belt in black leather, with the letters RAWR in gold accessorizing the belt alongside the golden start belt buckle and several chains dangling from the side of the belt together with a fluffy leopard print plush heart. On their left leg they wear a black leather strap and their arms are covered by dark, slightly see-through arm sleeves that end in fuzzy leopard print cuffs around their wrists.
