He's dead serious about his statements about women, and "the poors/browns". And he's trying to normalize these unhinged statements. And people listen.

While I find all that this regime does as painfully obvious acts of corruption and fascism... I have accepted that we need to point to the obvious thing, and declare loudly, over and over again, what it is.

I notified Ballotpedia that they needed to notate that on both of this politician's entries. If people are using sites to educate themselves, they should know what those politicians are doing to shirk past's they need to be accountable for.

Why unions are so important for all of us.

For me, it's more about knowing what I'm buying/supporting. The "why" I read a work or art is to know more about being human. I want to read things people manifested from their self.. Not something they edited after making a suggestion to LLMs. So I'd love mandatory labels much like foodstuff has.

ALL PEOPLE have these Rights. Not Citizen alone. All People are recognized as having divinity, soul, or value intrinsic to being Human. All People.

Violations to that are violations on founding ideals of this nation. Of the ideals of the United States of America.

All People are endowed by THEIR *creator* to certain unalienable rights. That is an American tenant. Not on specific creator. God. Religion. Specifically NOT that.

There is nothing Political about ensuring people have access to healthcare, education, financial mobility.

Political might be: "How do we make this happen" but not "It doesn't happen for these people."

I am at a point in my life where I am done calling Human Rights violations "Political". I'm not getting "political" when I'm talking about Black Lives Mattering. I'm not Political when I'm talking about Trans Rights, or the LGBTQ+ Community at large.

... and what is politics if not ALSO an act of human passion? I'm not saying that all art is political ONLY because... that is an absolute, and I wouldn't limit art in that way. But I would say that you'd be hard pressed to find real and valued art that isn't touched by "politics".

There is plenty of room for all the sci-fi.

It is not an aversion to the existence of AI. It is how it is being thrust on to us. Brute Forced. Beaten into the masses, without care or regard on how we feel, or how it harms.

It is about hundreds of billions of dollars being invested in boxes to house GPUs we don't even have water and power to drive, at the cost of the already struggling households that surround it.

It is not about halting technological innovation. It is about acknowledging the humanity that literally fueled its rise. It is about the wholesale theft of those most vulnerable amongst us to enrich the already powerful.
