We're back on 'hope'. I'd like people to listen to what we say, not what they want to be mad at us for. And I want it to be, like, entirely non remarkable that my entire D&D group is neurodivergent, instead of the skepticism. We're people. having community. That's what people do.

And then there's "at least our minds are fine" from physdis people. Which is appalling. There's nothing wrong with your mind NOT being fine, but there's a lot wrong with being an ableist bigot. I'd like this sentiment to die out. Not hopeful! but it's on the wishlist!

1st, people with intellectual disabilities ARE a neurodivergent community. However, a lot of events targeting these communities are inaccessible to autistic people. Which is a thing that I'd like to see change.

So I *hope* we can learn again from our past, but I'm feeling cynical about the flattening of things lately. I'd like to see a move towards deeper connections & people learning from the past

Deep dives, and being cool with learning. I wanna see THAT.

I also find community in things that're ND appealing but not designated autistic spaces (TTRPGs, my particular martial art, for example)

It's stunning how mixed neurology spaces are actually much cooler about some things.
