The other incident was at Musicfest, where somebody berated a group of South Asians for smoking near the crowd, but said nothing to the Caucasians smoking IN the crowd.

There have been TWO incidents in the last 48 hours where people of South Asian origin have been verbally harassed by some utter assholes. This includes a truck load of “good country boys” calling some S. Asians the N word, hard R.

I believe the number is not zero, but I also believe that there are some interviews where the reporter goes straight to a bar afterwards, and others where the editor or producer says “I’m sorry, but we can’t edit the crazy out of this. Roll those kitten adoptions!”

Well, it’s assumed, obviously, that there are no elderly or disabled individuals living in rural areas (highly sarcastic font) but even younger and able-bodied people can have their mailbox at a place that is inconvenient to check daily, like the gent interviewed.
