Looks better than the old Micra. A friend had one and I thought it was really quite odd looking. With so many small cars on offer, not sure a $45k price tag will be too appealing though. If it is a rebadged Renault, why not take the Renault.

Just bought sigenergy. Don't have and won't have a tesla, but will see whether my EV gets included sometime soon. I think that I may not need it with my 32kw battery pack. So excited.

Got a few beltings as a kid, also got the cane most days in primary school. My kids NEVER got hit. School taught me how they failed at discipline. Being physical never worked on me, just taught me how to play their game. In the end they lost. Did teach me about being a good people manager though.

Depends on range though. None of the electric bikes I have looked at so far had anything more than commuter range.

None of my petrol head friends talk about the lack of noise from EVs. They have a multitude of "other reasons" why they aren't moving to an EV. I simply mention that I have gone from $120+ a week on fuel to $14 a week on electricity. And less if the car is at home on a sunny day. Makes them think.

I think the "protect pedestrians" myth needs to be put down. Lots of times the loud snarling of my motorcycle exhaust as I madly change down gears and brake to avoid a pedestrian strolling onto the road shows me that these people dont want to be saved.

Starting up my EV after just hearing a big V8 start up, I commented to my wife that I do miss that a bit. The feeling left after a 30 second acceleration away from the traffic lights. But I do have my motorcycles for my rev brain!
