What makes it worse is how normalized it’s become.
People say things like
“Oh, teachers do it because they care.”
No! teachers do it because kids shouldn’t have to suffer for adult and the system’s failures.

"Voting won't fix this" and "you should vote" are not mutually exclusive.

It's called due diligence.

Voting should not be your only strategy because you can only vote so hard and the politicians don't care. But you have a better case for more radical action if you DID try voting.

Is there some sort of award for perfectly missing the point?
