I've started to try and teach myself 3D modeling in between crazy life events with the goal of one day getting there.
Yes it's ambitious, but I dunno the act of creating has helped me a lot even if it is really slow.

Any advice for someone trying to learn or resources you have used in the past to learn?

This sort of feel like a trend in AAA titles lately.
Even if the core *thing* was good or the material it was based on was good, they cut of parts of it or add in something that just makes the whole experience feel hollow/meh.

It's crazy! It's frustrating, but not in a bad way weirdly enough.
It's almost kind of therapeutic just trying to wlaka round and stumbling into odd stuff along the way.
