My statement on the proposed Senate deal

It’s so lovely!

And Their Wings Touched Each Other — What A Shrink Thinks I need to take a breath sometimes. I need a birds-eye, angel-eye, cosmic-view sometimes. Just for a moment, so I can keep going.

Not many people read this but I’m really glad I wrote this essay even if just for myself

Itty Bitty and Goosey have made a campfire in the middle of a snowy clearing in the pines. They gaze up happily at the Northern Lights streaming overhead against a dark sky background filled with stars.

The Monsters are dressed up as chess pieces on a chess board. The rook monster has slid into an unfortunate space on the board, and the bishop monster slaps his forehead in frustration. Itty Bitty, playing the opposing queen (of course), is delighted.

Rough blunder, man

Murray and Astro Monster wear the iconic white and black outfits of the characters from Spy vs Spy. Both are grinning mischievously at each other. Murray holds a stick of dynamite and Astro holds a bomb.

Frederick Monster, dressed in Elizabethan costume, sits on the floor and holds a skull wearing a jester’s hat in preparation for the “Alas poor Yorick” scene. The room is gloomily lit with a single candle.

many more of us dream of beloved and just communities, dream of better lives for all children and all future beings. Of an earth healed and regarded as alive and sacred. And to move toward these dreams perhaps we need visions of being surrounded by holy generativity, creative fires, Divine love

Charlie Kirk in 2023: "It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment."

He was wrong. No child, no moviegoer and no conservative commentator should have to die to maintain this perverted notion of the 2nd Amendment.
