Today, after not being able to write anything for nearly two months I finally managed to hammer out 2100 words!

This brings my #wip word count to 33,039!

Let's celebrate progress!

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman is the WILDEST novel I've listened to yet.

Jeff Hayes has somehow made Carl sound absolutely incompetent AND radically logical.

It's giving Kronk from Emperors New Groove—Patrick Warbuton-esque voice included.

It's a trip. You should read it.

My husband puts up with a lot. Like just now, we had this conversation;

Him: "You ok?"

Me, deep breathing, focused on a weird twinge in my chest: "My chest feels funny, like it hurts and feels tight. But it's not like a heart attack or anything."

Husband: 😨

Me: "I'll go to the ER, stay here."

The only #authorsky thing I feel like I'm being successful at is procrastination.

"Don't you dare spend more than five dollars on that thing!" Aaron called after me as I hopped out of our now parked car. "Do you even know where you're going to put it?"

"Nope!" I answered over my shoulder. The canvas was large, wider than tall, glorious, weird and everything I loved about art.

Hmmm! This is exciting! I've never done a pitch event before!

I just typed up a whole post and then deleted it because I didn't want to appear like I was whining.

It started out as a knitting club, Heather thought smiling as she looked out at all the smiling people sitting in the newly built community centre, the chatter of excited voices and clicking needles filling the space.

And for those saying "get healthy", my last physical was fine thanks, no concerns from my doctor. 😘

To note, yes I'm fat.

But I'm also 6ft2 and built broadly, meaning finding clothes in my size is ALREADY difficult, not including the size of my breasts and stomach.

No hate to buying what you want, I just wish there were more options.

Just watched a skinny girl buy a XXL sweater coat that is actually stunning. It's of course the last one the store has.

If Christmas wishes were real, I'd wish for stores to stock more than 1 XXL, & for straight size folks to please leave the cute fat clothes for actual fat people.

Interesting! Personally, as an ED, it's about setting culture expectations and enforcing them as the boss. It's my job to make sure my employees are taken care of, reminding them to take care of themselves and take time off when needed.

Listen. If I tell you it's taken 9 months to write HALF of one chapter, would it help?
