In one day, I saw two vulnerability reports: one for Claude Code, the other for Cursor.
Stay safe out there, fellow vibe-coder!
OpenAI removed a feature that made ChatGPT shared links discoverable after users' sensitive conversations were exposed on Google and other search engines. Cleanup is ongoing, but some content remains accessible, raising privacy concerns buff.ly/S02FE5w

01.08.2025 20:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Cursor(claude-4-sonnet) is an amazing tool to help go through code, get familiar with a new project, and so on, and it can really help.
I'm still amazed, though, that sometimes it just fails to create a simple if statement...
I guess my job is safe for now π
Blew through the $20 limit and it still seems free? Or will I be charged later?
30.07.2025 17:33 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Forgot to mention that I mainly use claude-4-sonnet
29.07.2025 19:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In 4 days, I used more than $17 out of my $20 limit on Cursor Pro, and I don't think I've been using it that much...
I used to use Cursor quite heavily before, but I donβt remember the limit being this low. Maybe something changed recently?
Ok, ok. No need to sweet-talk me, honey
28.07.2025 11:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi! I missed some important info, lol. It was Claude-4-Sonnet.
28.07.2025 08:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was writing a simple script, and as I always do with small one-file projects, I asked ChatGPT to generate it. It gave me a somewhat working script, but there were some weird bugs it couldnβt fix. I fed it to Cursor, and it got it right on the first try...
27.07.2025 16:43 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Visited my happy place - itβs been a while. Got a flat tyre, though.
26.07.2025 14:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm seriously considering buying a Claude subscription - that would be my third AI subscription, along with ChatGPT and Cursor.
25.07.2025 16:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No worries, I still love you
24.07.2025 15:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Seems I might've been living under a rock, but UK Ofcom seems to have abandoned STIR/SHAKEN:

I love WSL. The only problem is that WSL needs Hyper-V, and that makes my VirtualBox practically unusable.
I guess Iβll need to connect via xrdp to my Linux in WSL.
Havenβt used Google Meet in a while, but just tried it with Geminiβs meeting notes and itβs amazing.
21.07.2025 20:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hot take: I understand some of the criticism toward Slack, and it's healthy to acknowledge and point out issues. But if we compare it to Teams, then in my opinion, almost anything can be forgiven when it comes to Slack.

As side note menu has a name of CEO of the restaurant so this is way too easy
Watched Superman today. It was okay, but I definitely wouldnβt watch it again. Iβd give it a 5 out of 10.

19.07.2025 05:43 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Paid for electricity for July: 75 EUR. Average price per kWh was 0.03615 EUR. I buy electricity at spot prices, so the total cost was 22.47 EUR for 513.62 kWh. That means 70% of the bill was just fees. π
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the last bill - it's quite low.
There are plenty of things cops should be doing instead of that. First, they could look for my stolen bike.
17.07.2025 18:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I got two free return shipping labels to Germany...
Letβs see how smooth it goes from here.
Previously, my biggest return by size was a coffee machine to an Amazon warehouse in Germany.
I bought a trampoline for the kids from an online shop - it arrived in two huge packages.
Now I want to return it. π
Itβll be my biggest return by size... 46 kg total!
In a nutshell, I personally donβt think itβs cheaper here in the EU to own a new EV vs a new petrol car. But that doesnβt mean you shouldnβt buy one.
15.07.2025 17:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Plus, it seems youβll need new tires more often with an EV.
About spark plugs and timing belts - I probably havenβt owned that many cars, but with my last 2 Japanese cars over the past 7+ years, I didnβt need any of those.
