In one day, I saw two vulnerability reports: one for Claude Code, the other for Cursor.

Stay safe out there, fellow vibe-coder!

Cursor(claude-4-sonnet) is an amazing tool to help go through code, get familiar with a new project, and so on, and it can really help.
I'm still amazed, though, that sometimes it just fails to create a simple if statement...
I guess my job is safe for now πŸ˜…

Blew through the $20 limit and it still seems free? Or will I be charged later?

Forgot to mention that I mainly use claude-4-sonnet

In 4 days, I used more than $17 out of my $20 limit on Cursor Pro, and I don't think I've been using it that much...

I used to use Cursor quite heavily before, but I don’t remember the limit being this low. Maybe something changed recently?

I was writing a simple script, and as I always do with small one-file projects, I asked ChatGPT to generate it. It gave me a somewhat working script, but there were some weird bugs it couldn’t fix. I fed it to Cursor, and it got it right on the first try...

I'm seriously considering buying a Claude subscription - that would be my third AI subscription, along with ChatGPT and Cursor.

Seems I might've been living under a rock, but UK Ofcom seems to have abandoned STIR/SHAKEN:

I love WSL. The only problem is that WSL needs Hyper-V, and that makes my VirtualBox practically unusable.

I guess I’ll need to connect via xrdp to my Linux in WSL.

Hot take: I understand some of the criticism toward Slack, and it's healthy to acknowledge and point out issues. But if we compare it to Teams, then in my opinion, almost anything can be forgiven when it comes to Slack.

Paid for electricity for July: 75 EUR. Average price per kWh was 0.03615 EUR. I buy electricity at spot prices, so the total cost was 22.47 EUR for 513.62 kWh. That means 70% of the bill was just fees. πŸ˜•

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the last bill - it's quite low.

There are plenty of things cops should be doing instead of that. First, they could look for my stolen bike.

I got two free return shipping labels to Germany...

Let’s see how smooth it goes from here.

Previously, my biggest return by size was a coffee machine to an Amazon warehouse in Germany.

Now I want to return it. πŸ˜ƒ

It’ll be my biggest return by size... 46 kg total!

In a nutshell, I personally don’t think it’s cheaper here in the EU to own a new EV vs a new petrol car. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy one.

Plus, it seems you’ll need new tires more often with an EV.

About spark plugs and timing belts - I probably haven’t owned that many cars, but with my last 2 Japanese cars over the past 7+ years, I didn’t need any of those.
