Having observed the internet for several years now its clear that it needs moral guidance. We need to re-learn the rules of society, re-learn how we treat each other and regain respect. We need... The Internet Referee. Disrespecting society? Yellow card.

You’re welcome. It’s no problem. And thank you for replying and supporting the right thing.

I know. You know, we know. Ive followed you for years. But Ukraine as a country is over performing. Ukraine's government is over performing. Hear the rowdy room when I say Zelensky is outstanding, he overperforms again & again.

Ukrainians are outstanding. Again and again. Every day. Be Positive.

So it's just for kicks then. Either way, we're on the same side. We all love Ukraine, it's the biggest fight for right against wrong we've ever known. Ever. We need to rally around Ukraine.

Let's just keep encouraging everyone to do the right thing. Negativity is as its own name suggests.

No, not at all. It's just that you posted something controversial. If you posted something less controversial there would be no angry crowd of twerking roaches that screech into the wind or in your general direction.

It's almost like you keep doing it for kicks / money.

Calm it down Astraia.

I think he needs Taurus and Tomahawks.

I think he needs everyone's support, including yours.

I think he needs to keep pressing Europe.

I think he needs to keep his nation fighting.

I think he needs to keep doing what he's doing well.

I think he needs you to shut up with the nonsense.

It's Sunday. Every third week I get a weekend off and today I had a terrific family day. It wasn't much, football, dinner, beer, beef (as I'm British) and gardening.

I don't know about you but that is better than anything.

Tomorrow though, back to Internet Refereeing. Yellow card bad people.

Zelensky is a legend of leadership, a legend of democracy, an exemplary man who put everything before himself. He convinced billions of people to stick with his country's cause and stands as a pillar of clear righteousness.

He isn't perfect but he is so, more so than most. He failed no one.

Winner of our least prestigious award. Tough call but here we have a lady who sold out more than most. She oversees the law but won't apply it to rich sex offenders.

Congratulations to *PAMELA J BONDI*

For failure to recognise true victims of crime yards away. Failure to do the right thing.

Our special clownhead award, reserved for more bespoke imbecility goes to the IOC President.

As a referee of the internet I understand that rules are indeed rules. But common sense and human understanding must prevail.

Let him wear the helmet you clownhead.

Congratulations *KIRSTY L COVENTRY*

UK weather: Sunny start to weekend ahead of snow and ice warnings After days of cloud and rain, the weekend starts sunny and cold with further snow and ice warnings as Simon King expalains

If you know a British person, particularly one from the north of the island you'll understand why 1 sunny day makes the main news.

This report states we're getting a day of sunshine.

Almost! 6 hours of it. It followed 16 days of rain. Now there are 13 more ahead.

Ref! Lets have a look at this one;

We can see that Rubio has a golden opportunity here to score in a open goal, reassure his teammates and put an end to those boos and jeers from practically the entire world who thinks he's talentless. They're right...

He's fluffed it! Awful effort.

Sub please.

I don't think Zelensky will negotiate on Ukrainian land. He, like us; knows Ukraine is slowly winning and working its way through the grind.

I think he's playing Trump for time. It's tempting to ask for more and more from him. But few people in the world would have done his job better than he has.

It's time for this weeks awards. Unfortunately US politics dominates global idiocy with few people challenging.

Congratulations to *ROBERT F KENNEDY*

Winner of this weeks proper douchebag award for telling people he used to snort cocaine from a toilet seat. This chap should not govern anything.

Nothing Can Stop American Democracy. Nothing. Authoritarian Expansion Vs The American People

There is a ton of negativity surrounding the potential for democratic failure in the US. I don't think it will happen and here is why.

Its an easy tag line but the good people in America will win and the table is turning.

We should plant more lettuce and really slow them down.

I'm picturing an entire border without tank traps and minefields. Instead it's vegetable patches and slug pellets for miles.

On a serious note, Russia can speed up but in the other direction.

Trump revokes landmark EPA ruling that greenhouse gases endanger public health The White House calls it the largest deregulation in US history, but environmentalists say it will prove costly for Americans.

Dum, dum, dum, dum, dumb....

Why can't this President just say out loud that greenhouse gases exist and that too much of them are really bad for us.

It does cost a little more to reduce pollution. Just like it costs more to keep a house or a car or a street clean.

We've had a good long look at the action replay here.

It looks like no foul. Orban doesn't need to worry as he won't be running the country anyway in a few months time.

It turns out nobody declared war on Hungary and hasn't done since the US in 1942.

Yellow card.. for being a drama queen

Nearly half of Europeans would back banning X over EU law breaches A new YouGov survey across Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Poland shows nearly half of Europeans (47 percent) would back banning social media platform X from the EU if it continues to breach EU rul...

I personally am one of this 47%. It gets badged up (by people like Musk) as an attack on free speech.

It isn't and it's obvious that it isn't. The law is sensible, it protects children and prevents to some degree rampant misinformation. X can easily comply.

I hope this tells us that the Russian government (i.e Putin + 2 other blokes) know they are in for a rough ride and have some more realistic concerns about tangible issues with their population.

They didn't get what they needed from the US. National W Fund running low. Growing front line issues.

I hope so. I am also skeptical. But I think there is great cause for optimism.

(I additionally apologise some for using this moment to promote a personal substack). But I've done it now...

Maybe I am over confident.

I see the build up and the glaringly obvious warning signs. But I've also seen those little victories. Lost seats. Push back in Minnesota and Greenland. Climb down on trade wars. Weak tariffs. There are too many good people. I say;

Nothing can stop American democracy.

Quite right.

Something has gone awfully wrong in the land of the free. But we can trust the 330 million other non-insane Americans to fix it. Any moment.... now. Here they go.

I like to look at this every day. It helps. 1001 days to go.

Violinist Ben Gunnery sent hundreds of nude images to women Ben Gunnery has been handed a 12-month suspended jail sentence at Bromley Magistrates Court today.

Bloody Nora...

Here's a daily dose of thoroughly typically British news. Man who plays violin sends way to many willy pictures. One is probably too many but hundreds?

Crikey governor.

Put it away sunshine. Straight red card. Early bath and don't take a pic.
