As an author, I’m thrilled my toddler is currently obsessed with books. As a tired mom, I’m devastated that her bedtime routine is now a half-hour longer and full of demands of “more read!!”

I think the hardest part of this is that it requires us to be honest with ourselves! I’m having to learn that just because something is valuable to me doesn’t mean it is going to be valuable to potential readers. I think I’ll staring asking myself “would I watch this if someone else posted it?”
