I was born and raised hearing that men don’t cry, but that's bullshit. For people who cry regularly, it can be a way of exorcising small demons, a way to cope with the ugliness of the world. For those who bottle things up, tears always feel like blades running down your face.

The "hog line" mentioned is named after the hogs in William Hope Hodgson's House on the Borderland, as Hodgson, a weightlifter and athlete, was a big supporter of curling. In the novel, if you passed the hog line, the horror hogs would appear.

i hate that my superpower is knowing it’s going to storm because all my inflamed joints hurt so bad and my brain stops working

im so glad theres a movie theatre within driving distance with free parking and i can get a ticket for $8 like i would not be going to the movies if there wasnt

also most video game movies suck and this was incredible. faithful to the game, all the thrilling horrific elements were there and looked pretty damn good, with just enough backstory and worldbuilding that didnt try to over explain everything (which has been a common weakness in horror recently)

genuinely stoked at how much i enjoyed the iron lung movie. i knew i'd have fun regardless but it was really good. fucken absolutely impressed with markiplier's acting skills too, he was solid and there wasn't a moment where he felt wooden or bad. dude is a really good actor!!!

for gutter fans: the manul, or palla's cat. stephen kropa has good taste
