Like, opt- it system is iffy at best and there's no real way to contact every single rights holder (or even figure out who all are). And giving more power to big corps doesn't really solve the mess we're in, just makes it so that those worst affected (besides scumbag AI companies) are indie folks.

I'm not entirely optimistic about this case since obviously the AI company will appeal, and it's using copyright - which is... difficult, especially when it comes to tech companies. I also have some reservations around copyright law, since big corps see the benefits and not independent creatives.
