Got the ISO of the Akai Sound Library disc 6 (Sound Effects). Rename it ‘CD6.iso’ on an SD card & the sampler reads it as a drive on SCSI ID 6. Let me tell you, the door slams & mechanical clanks, pitched down an octave or so, are pure Chiastic Slide/Keynell drum sounds

Every super hyped series I’ve watched this year - The Last Of Us, Andor, Alien:Earth, Squid Game - has been so desperate to fill out a contractual number of episodes. The TV format has worked well for a few things but it’s now only about chasing & maintaining subscriptions so…back to films for me
