Voracious reader. Politics junkie. Senior woman lacing up my HOKAs and preparing to resist. . .again. Sigh.

I love your book! I’ve recommended it to several people, both lawyers and nonlawyers. You write so very well and I’m looking forward to what you write next.

It’s fabulous! Essential information presented in lively and understandable prose.

Kim Stanley Robinson’s New York 2140 and Ministry for the Future are both non-dystopian wonderful books. Lengthy, but not a wasted word in them.
Also, Cory Doctorow writes terrific stories and books about the future.

You can’t go wrong reading Alexis Hall. He writes in many genres (romance, fantasy, paranormal detective stories, non-humans, etc), happy endings abounding. Casey McQuiston identifies as non-binary and their recent book called The Pairing is wonderful.

Knowing that Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse means we know that he showed more care and consideration towards his fellow humans than does any member of the trump regime.

I didn’t watch the interview, but I wonder if the interviewer was prepared with the percentage increase in MN residents being brutalized by federal agents.

Recently reread Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe (too many decades between readings) and it holds up brilliantly.

Anything by Niall Williams. History of the Rain and This is Happiness might be the most gorgeous prose I have ever read.

Both of these are fabulous! MacFarlane’s books titled The Underland, and The Old Ways are also stunning.

I told my kid over & over that he could tell me anything & that the onus was on me to deal with it bec I wanted to maintain a relationship with him. (I don’t know if he fully believed me.) I am so so sorry that your parents are so stuck that they cannot see what a brave & awesome child they raised.

Please stop being surprised at Boomers knowing bullshit when we see it. We’ve lived thru assassinations of good people, Vietnam, Watergate, Reagan, Iran-Contra, GWB, Iraq & Afghanistan, financial busts, religious scandals, devolution of Repub Party,& trump. Many of us know which way the wind blows.

Because, as with so much else he does, if you don’t look for a solution, that means the problem doesn’t exist. He may not have said that β€œcancer” is a hoax (yet), but since he has called much of science and medicine a hoax, it’s just a matter of time.
