I envision a world where so much of our lives are recorded and fed to AI that the creation of a convincing copy could be made. But AI cant know what we are thinking or our motivations. Which is really why drives us. So it cant be anymore than a hallow imitation.

Quake Live is Q3 and still maintained.

They say med+ is all changed with only low remaining unchanged for the older hardware.

My guess is yes. They specifically cite how the old shadows don’t work well in the distance and these will be much better.

This is awesome. I hope they will perform better on modern hardware as well. Anything they can do to improve this old engine is welcome.

I absolutely love when they give us these technical break downs of how they resolve issues. I’m an IT guy and these tickle my brain just right.

I hit 18.5k. I had hoped to hit 20k by years end, that is not looking good. I have sunk a lot of hours in Hades 2 which has impacted my GW2 time. Ah well maybe VoE will boost me there. Happy gaming all!

I loved the fractal quick play event. Giving a leggy away to get ppl playing was great. So many ppl I talked to were playing the entire event on their alt accounts!

Tempest must have been in downstate 90% of the time!
