Also the snow in Niseko was truly spectacular. Best skiing I’ve experienced.

Where you visit on vacation always seems a bit better than home because it’s vacation. However Japan IS better when it comes to toilets (seriously want one) and Tokyo’s subways.

Thanks for sharing. Today I head home from Tokyo where I’ve developed massive subway envy.

Landed at Tokyo Haneda at 10:15. Still on the tarmac waiting for a gate at 12:06. The flight from Sapporo was only 90 minutes.

Catherine O’Hara… she was great. I always liked her attitude. I hadn’t seen this in years and a fan shared it with me. May her memory be a blessing.

Last day skiing at Niseko. Blizzard dumping snow - too windy to open the gondola so we’re skiing the short runs. Snow is still great!

Skiing in Japan is amazing.

I’ve upped my onsens to two a day. My skiing body is thanking me.

I don’t even mind shovelling though the logistics are becoming challenging. Where to put it all?

It’s so beautiful outside. I love the fluffy snow. ❄️ It’s pretty funny to me that I’m travelling to Niseko Japan on Thursday to ski in exactly this kind of snow.
