I was bad for years with dramatic shifts in my art style (if you know of my old DA, it's all still there for people to see). I never started drawing to "be good." I started drawing because I liked doing it. I liked creating. I wanted to portray the things I liked.

If you think the process of making art is agonizing, either try a different medium or realize you're not a creator. It's ok. Artists like the process. Otherwise, we wouldn't do it. At the very least, get the rubber out of your mouth. You're only giving these AI companies the distraction to succeed.

I didn't even read much of homestuck, and it feels like directly translating the pester logs would be boring for an animated show. A lot of talking back and forth that's easier to take your time with as an interactive web comic and cutting it out cuts out characterization.

I went to a star wars con this past weekend and it was wonderful to see even a small section of what the actual fandom is like. Age ranges across the board, and even tho it did skew toward white men, I saw plenty of others there in different demographics. Star War is for everyone ♥️
