My relationship with music has changed/deepened massively this year. I'm buying more physical records, relying less on streaming, reading more, trying to go to more gigs... and it's been a good year (on that front).

Can vouch for JR Moores’ scribbles; I have an excellent Perfect Drug era Trent Reznor sketch inside my copy of Electric Wizards and it was only after I read the book that it dawned on me how much it must have pained him to do it.
