It's basically to set a timer alternately to two values. First a long(ish) time (25 - 30 min is generally accepted) then a short one (5 minutes or so generally). During the long span you work, fully focused. Any time a distraction comes to you you push it off to the 5 minutes timer. Rinse/Repeat

Timers? Are you a Pomodoro technique fan too? It's saved my butt more than once.

Can't imagine it has much more bullshit than small team stuff does. It would be unfamiliar, however, and I guess I'm still holding on to the bs I know.
