Are you all already talented as artists, with lay out tools, etc or do team up with others to work on the areas of your project you don't have skill in? The price to entry on a new project seems intimidating given the whole *gestures vaguely at current events*

How do people come up with ideas to post on apps like this? I'm lucky if I remember this app exists once ever 3-5 business days.

Too much of the ES community is self referential memes at this point. It always bothers me how much of the game is lost for memes and fan service.

I just walked to a meeting with naught buy a small notebook and pen in one pocket and it was amazing.

There is something liberating about emptying your pockets and being able to walk around with nothing in them.

I need to find some more hopeful books to read that don't feel like running away. I don't need a temporary escape, I want a direction to go or something actionable to do.

There definitely is some trauma associated with that book because of what was happening around me when I tried to read it. But it also feels like my gut is canary in a coal mine. Like we're not too far away from tear gas in the streets again.
