If you are outside of your home, ask the agent if you are free to leave and if they say yes, leave calmly. Give this card to the agent. If you are inside your home, show the card through the window or slide it under the door.

Friday night went to a session run by an immigration lawyer to learn the rights of folks. As part of the evening we were given these cards - which share our rights and give a script to folks who might need it. I’ll be making more of these - in multiple languages
