The WA legislative bill SB 6002 having to do with ALPRs (license plate readers) passed the Senate today.

Unfortunately it passed with the amendment to increase data retention length from 72 hours to 21 days, which is concerning.

Turns out surging capital gains revenue will give OR legislators $156 million more in the budget than they anticipated. But the state will still need a lot more measures to deal with Trump administration cuts...
