It's a great feeling. And it's absolutely the right thing to do. But holy crap, when I see these Instagram stories of the smug people admonishing others who don't it makes me want the carts to become sentient and roast those people for the rest of their lives.

I say this as someone who just had to move a cart out to take the last parking spot to go pick up some last minute groceries. It's very annoying. The people who complain about it are much more annoying. Much much, much more annoying.

You should always put your cart away. Always. It is the right thing to do. But if you see someone not do it, just put their cart away. Don't try to become Instagram famous for it.
