I’m glad the story is gripping enough to make me press forward. There is alot to like here, I was particularly drawn to the TV’s & Radios as Im a sucker for environmental & auxiliary storytelling. But the combat is so frustrating that I cant even bring myself to complete the DLC.

While the characters & story were gripping with a nice mystery at its core. The gameplay brought the experience down, in particular the combat & camera. Ill chalk this up as a product of its time & look forward to a more positive experience with Control & AW2.

Oh I’m the same, survival games don’t really hook me unless they have a USP or do something different. But the worms and the hovercrafts are a real big draw for me. Plus your amazing stories 😂😂

Today’s 2nd film, #Superman! A great start to a new DCU with great casting & performances especially Supes, Lois & Lex. The supporting cast quickly flesh out this DCU making it feel larger. However it feels a little rushed & overstuffed, quickly moving from set piece to set piece

Double billing films today! First, #FantasticFour dare I say it was… FANTASTIC! I love retro-futurism so the set design & world stood out. This cast & their versions of Marvels first family are an instant favourite. With Thunderbolts & now F4, it feels like Marvel is healing!

Wrapped up #Atomfall last night. I sank in 30 hours, explored every inch of the game, followed every lead and scoured every nook and cranny (bet I still missed something though.) It’s been a while since a game has left me wanting more, truly my surprise game of 2025 so far! 🔥🔥

I have given it a go and it didn’t quite click for me but I will give it another go at some point

I’m coming to the end of #Atomfall and I’m stumped as to what game I should move on to next 😬 my whole plan was playing some small games after Indiana Jones that progressively got larger with but I ended up spend twice as long in Atomfall and wrapping it up is going to leave a massive hole.

At the weekend we defeated a Dalek and saved the ship with 2 seconds to spare! Felt like a proper, tense episode of Doctor Who! #EscapeHunt

PSA: More games need editors! Let us build in the games we love! Playing the hell out of #Atomfall right now and my dev brain is starting to take over, thinking of the spaces and POI's I could craft in such a world.

Another year, another fantastic #developconf! Some fantastic talks this year & getting the chance to catch up with fellow devs is always fun. While our industry goes through hard times, Im glad events like this are still here to bring us together & remind us why we do what we do!

All set in a very familiar yet somewhat alien setting that is really fun to explore. While AI & Combat are pretty lacklustre, I feel the exploration & quest system make up for this. Atomfall is a refreshingly tight & focussed experience that I hope grows into a killer IP (2/2)

Really hooked on #Atomfall! It may look like British Fallout, but it’s influenced by so much more. How Rebellion crafted the quests with emphasis on exploration and discovery is such a rare thing these days in a world of map markers and fast travel and I’m here for it! (1/2)

Another SP game down! #SouthofMidnight was such a vibe! A heartfelt narrative about trauma & loss “weaved” in with southern folklore & folk music. While I would have liked more variety in gameplay & combat, it totally made up for in story, art, animation & a killer soundtrack!

Next up on the single player backlog bonanza!
