I could not encourage you more to consider doing something if you’re facing burn out or even feelings of helplessness and are in LA and looking for work in this garbage market. It’s the most life affirming thing I’ve ever done. Harder than hell — but so meaningful.

ICE has been caught looting and destroying property at Pittsburgh restaurants. They even tried to break into the safes. They loaded food, supplies and equipment into vehicles

usually if you ask experts why an empire fell they’ll say it’s nuanced and multifaceted, so i think it’s kind of cool that with America future historians will get to just say like “oh they took the idiot train to moronsville”

a person so serious about swimming that he doesn’t realize high school and college events are done in short course yards which means they swim less distance & get a boost from extra turns, vs. Olympians in an Olympic pool, making boys’ high school records also better than men’s Olympic records
