A LIQUID I.V. bag (the top half is a dark or navy blue and the bottom half is mostly a teal, but there is a small chunk of the left side to be a light-blue that has an image of blue cotton candy on a paper stick and a pink cotton candy on a paper stick.) It is the cotton candy flavour. It has 8-blue cotton candy sticks and 8-pink cotton candy sticks.

I have become the person that gets excited about trying cotton candy electrolytes.

I am smiling while jumping where both my legs and to some degree bent. My left leg is properly bent so my foot is directly under my bum, where my right leg is less bent and my foot is lower than my left leg. My arms are stretched wide up and outwards with my hands flat and straight out. (Think a very childish pose.) I’m holding up both of my running shoes. They are upside down so the soles are facing towards the camera. The soles are primarily orange with some black. The soles are clearly used with bald spots as well as more destruction across the soles.

I think it’s time to retire these.

Even though I’m still kinda a loner runner at the parkruns, it’s still a lovely experience to be surrounded by other runners and walkers. I’m hoping to get to become buddies with a person or people there. I have at least had some lovely interactions with others so far!

This past weekend was my 5th parkrun, and I truly love it! I’m typically a loner runner (I do love doing my own thing) but I do wish I had a runner buddy to have low-key gossip runs.

It was in the frozen section, so I’m not sure about shelf life.

There has been a couple of people on Reddit that have enjoyed, if not this specific one, a different roll from this company. It’s definitely all up to each individual’s taste.

It’s not bad necessarily, other than the fact that half of them fell a part almost immediately, but I think the combo of the smell and texture of the “salmon” is really grossing me out.
Overall: I’m glad I tried it, but never again.

I found this in the freezer section at a smaller local grocery store and thought it would be fun to try (I also had low expectations: frozen sushi).

A close up of my feet while wearing my adidas slides (black with three white stripes that go across the strap) with a grey pebbly ground. My feet and slides are coated in a thick layer of dust dirt (as opposed to mud dirt 😉.) there is a sliver of skin on the top of my feet showing cleaner skin that was protected by the strap.

I went to the Oregon Country Fair yesterday. Think of it as a hippie-like festival/fair. It is always a fun experience, but very dirty! I had to rinse my feet and shoes before stepping into the house (and take a thorough rinse in the shower.)

16 weeks ago I started a running plan simply to challenge myself and help get me out of my running rut. I truly didn’t see myself being able to make the time I entered when I was setting up the plan. Well, today was the day and I DID IT! I ran a sub 50 minutes 10k!!!! 🎉🥳!!!!
