2/ iPSCs and ESCs express nearly the same proteins, yet at different levels. Notably, iPSCs express >4,000 proteins 1.5x higher, with higher overall protein content! This calls for careful normalisation βsize or content differences could mask major findings if you simply median normalise. βοΈ
