Instead, it has become more fragmented and volatile, shaped by episodic surges, the normalization of far-right mobilization, and a growing diversity of claims, participants, and repertoires.

Based on a diverse set of papers, we argue that Europe’s protest arena is no longer routinized, steadily expanding, and dominated by progressive, left-libertarian actors.
