It is borderline infuriating that they can't just admit their fetish is a fetish and in order to deal with the cognitive dissonance of their repressive beliefs, label it something else entirely, & then tell women at large they should all lead submissive lifestyles, not even as a fetish, but as a

The nose of Bockscar, the B-29 that dropped the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki. The fuselage is a round cylinder, with bare aluminum skin. The nose is greenhouse of small windows.
Next to it is a full scale replica of Fat Man, the bombbomb that was dropped. You can see from its size that it barely fits in the bomber, despite it's large size.
I was at the USAF Museum a few weeks ago, and they have Bockscar there, the actual B-29 that dropped it on Nagasaki.
It's sobering to be next to, but our Docent also said that the devastation from the incendiary bombs LeMay switched us to using was even more severe. Horrors upon horrors.

I'm glad for ya! There was so much hype when they first came in I was excited for them, especially their fries. Everything was super mediocre though, the fries were just sad and squishy, that I decided I needed to give them another chance without preconceived notions.
It was the same though :-(

We don't have Culver's out here, but our version of it is either Burgerville or Super Deluxe, both of which are better than any here.
My only experience with 5 Guys, unfortunately, is setting low expectations and still being disappointed. Shakes Shack was the opposite though. I'd happily pick them.

An important thing to remember re: this list of names.
Abusers never rape just one person. They never have just one victim. They have a lifetime's worth of victims. If they are still alive and going out into the world, they are still raping children.
They are an ACTIVE, IMMEDIATE DANGER TO GIRLS.

A huge unexpected gut punch in this article was seeing that the cemetery I did a class project at as a kid is doing these AI obituaries now. In less than a generation weโre seeing this kind of religious devotion to scam technology promoted over the very essence of our humanity and history

A pair of reviews of Outback from a woman named Diana. The first is 1 Star and reads, "I am absolutly livid. My husband drove all the way to pick up our Outback order and you people FORGOT the bloomin Onion! That was the only thing I wanted"
Her second review is 5 stars and reads, "My fat husband ate the blooming onion in
the car and lied. I am sorry and I don't know
how to delete reviews."
Maybe it'll be one official over a Bloomin' Onion?

The Astoria-Megler bridge at dusk. It's an open iron construction, with the main deck suspended almost 200 feet off the water by a pair of tall towers. The Columbia's waters are a dark blue with some lighted areas across the waves. The dark remnants of old piers are jutting up in the foreground as the shoreline curves around to a warehouse and pier that mostly in shadows. You can see a s string of lights coming from it.
THe sun is nearly set behind a row of dark clouds on the horizon giving way to clear skies.
An extreme crop of the area by the warehouse's light in the full picture. You can make out the light shining on the windshied of a delivery van, the building's siding, and a dark window past some items in the yard. The clouds with the last light of the sun radiating past their tops is visible in the background.
Got some pics from a recent trip to Astoria, one of which is this shot of the Astoria-Megler Bridge. The amazing thing to me is the extreme blow-up from the lighted area by the warehouse under the bridge. Was not expecting that!

"He's a piece of shit, but let's get the political science stuff out of the way," Steven told me when I asked if he thought support of Tesla could be considered apolitical. "Elon Musk has platformed white supremacists and antisemites on X. He got rid of all the moderation. He put back accounts that were clearly neo-Nazis. He's changed algorithms to promote that type of hate.
Him and DOGE did massive cuts in the government, including our civil services.
He's cut cancer research. Did I mention he was a giant piece of shit?"
"He's cut our aid to Africa, which Will result, without exaggeration, in millions of women and children and innocent people dying. Millions," he said. "I'm not a big fan of people who give the Hitler salute. I mean, I'm kind of fussy like that. He gave it twice at Trump's inauguration," he continued. "He's a Nazi. And he cheats at video games. You have another question?"
