The jazz channel informs me today is the great Stevie Wonder's 75th birthday. Here are two of my favorites: the first, 'As,' performed by the man, himself. And the second, 'Golden Lady,' a pretty cover, performed by Kurt Elling.

This one looks shopped also. Their bodies look airbrushed, and not like they were actually sitting in that raft.

This is beside the point, but why does this pic look shopped? The lighting is weird: He has cast shadows on the left side of his face; she does not. Did they put a softbox on her? Did they shoot them individually and then mash it together in photoshop? It looks funky.

Democracy doesn't die in darkness or light; it just dies an ugly, stupid, pathetic death.
