Suet is a big hit here on Gabriola Island, BC! It’s cool to see the little birds poking around on the ground under the feeder for the crumbs dropped by the big birds. Very symbiotic ☯️🐤

Creating just one image uses up to 1 kWh of total energy, including AI model training, GPU processing and data centre infrastructure. That's equivalent to running a microwave on high for a full hour. For just one image.)

Don’t get me wrong. Trump and his ilk are festering cancers on the soul of humanity, and it’s natural to want to express your anger and outrage, horror and disgust. But…

I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing a sibling is one thing, but losing a child, as you did, must be unspeakably wrenching. When my brother died, our mom was disconsolate. She’s gone now too, but she carried the grief in her heart until her dying day. 💔

I know! What’s even more maddening - a lot of people today don’t even seem to care about protecting *their own children* - no masks, no vaccines, indifference... I’d have thought the instinct to protect one’s own offspring would be unbreakable. Guess not 😕
