Auch die Essener Polizei ist Polizei und nicht neutral. Was bei Ermittlungen schief läuft, kriegt das Gericht kaum mehr gerade. Es braucht polizeiunabhängige Ermittlungsstellen.

Genau das. Der Europäische Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte hat übrigens schon öfter angemahnt, dass im Rahmen der Untersuchungspflichten im Hinblick auf das Recht auf Leben Art. 2 EMRK unabhängige Stellen polizeiliches Fehlverhalten aufklären sollen - und nicht einfach eine andere Polizeibehörde.

The White House keeps unilaterally taking entirely voluntary actions which it openly says are intended to inflict more pain and then they're I guess surprised - along with most of the DC media - about why they seem to be taking the blame for the shutdown.
