I believe it's one of the reasons we're seeing more NMM as it allows control kver reflections more. In fairness, cabinet lights are much better now and judges look under a daylight lamp when judging, but with glossy surfaces can still misbehave

My observation is that GD entry styles do tend to lean into a few as painters spot ones they like and refine over years, so those are the ones that improve more. But there is a general change over the years. Some styles suffer because they're too subtle or don't work well under cabinet conditons too

Thanks. It's broadly a pale grey undercoat and then Trollslayer, shaded with Wildrider + Evil Sun and then a touch of Khorne Red. Will then push it into Fire Dragon Bright and add a bone or lemon I think.

Feel like it's been an age since I picked up a brush just for the sake of it, so finally getting round to painting up a #Firedragon having never painted a 28mm Eldar before...

Hobby is slow at present due to the heat and that I'm in the throws of moving my hobby room - so mountains of DIY and upheaval. However I did manage to sort out a bit more of my two #Mechanicum tanks last night.

I was sent the Centurion in MKII armour from the upcoming Saturnine box from Warhammer. Here's my take of it in the colours of the Thousand Sons legion.

This was quite a complex project from build to finish if I'm honest.
