There are days where my body & mind just completely shut down because I'm so overwhelmed with my depression. You have no idea how many times I've contemplated about putting an end to it all, for better or worse.

The fact that I'm still even here, in spite of this daily struggle, is a miracle.

Today is World Mental Health Day

Struggling with mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a lifelong battle that a lot of us have to contend with in some form or another. That's why it's important to understand that there are plenty of people out there who share the same struggles as well.

I'm still rooting for Dynamite Headdy since that game rules and it's been almost a decade since its last showing, but these are definitely better submissions overall compared to SGDQ.

Even if I don't get in, I'd love to push some of these further at other events.

We sent the love over to @rhinosnax.bsky.social who was playing through some Mario Galaxy. I remember how breathtaking it was to play that for the first time back when it came out. It's amazing how much influence it has on so many games after all these years.

So I've tried submitting to magFAST, but I don't think I can really think of anything to submit for the time being. I guess it's a bit disappointing but if I'm gonna be going to MAGfest then I'd probably rather spend time with friends & family there anyway rather than stress about a run.
