Yes, it’s true: Snopes confirms that RFK Jr was indeed a heroin addict from his teenage years into adulthood.

This is one of so many times where someone has a great turn of phrase, this perfect clarity thought, about something other than covid that also applies to covid. I feel rude quote tweeting but it is 100% perfect. "Act today in a way that you won't need to lie to them, and yourself, in the future."

"We have innovated a new system of age identification that uses cutting-edge AI, and the best part is that it requires no electricity. It uses gold bullion as fuel, so if you can get us a large supply of that, we'l have it working in no time, your Imperial Majesty."

Yeah, it's weird over here, I have people following me that I swear have no interest in anything I have to say and transparently just want a follow back. Mostly porn bots or people selling something did that on the other site.

Lists with trans people and pro Palestine people named as far right. That gets you a block. Possibly just from gullibility.

COVID virus finds a home in your brain A landmark study has found the virus that causes COVID-19 accumulates and persists in the body - especially the brain - for years after infection.

No, not a study by me, I just talk about it. Amazing work by Ali Erturk and a very large team.

I thought about doing the same.
Four characters that describe your personality.

Me in Alien 1, before COVID.
Me in Alien 2, during COVID.
Me in Alien 3, studying Long Covid.
Me in Alien: Resurrection, getting ready for the Bird Flu.

Our community mental health clinic used only therapists-in-training for awhile. They'd get their 1000 hours then leave.

Total failure. They didn't have the experience to help a population with complex traumas and it soured clients on therapy in general.

"Better than nothing" is worse than nothing.

Or maybe the opposite? Autism may be due to certain Neanderthal dna. So ability to see the world differently may be more of an indicator of Neanderthal DNA than being unable to engage with complexity and change like MTG.

not saying anything groundbreaking here, but I really think "politics as a form of content to be served up and consumed like all other forms of content" has been an enormous, underrated disaster in terms of giving folks the illusion of being informed while essentially being gamed like a drug addict

Masking speaks to community and working together. I mask to protect myself and to stop the spread and mutation of a deadly virus. No one has given me a good reason otherwise.

I agree with all of this but I'd use the word stressed. The medical profession uses the word anxious to mean it's irrational, so I've got an aversion to the word. But, yeah, my covid stress levels are a problem, and completely rational and justified.
