Farmers are no more important than the hundreds of other jobs people are doing every day. No Farmers = We all spend a lot more of our own time growing our own food and society slowly collapses. Just as if I don't do my job as an architect, your house would be full of mold or burn down, likely both.

Can we also stop with the whole "No Farmers No Food" narrative, which I think a lot of "rural America is pure and wholesome" springs from? Industrial farms make our economy possible but so do the people who make sure our kitchen appliances don't catch on fire.
