I remember your video (sort of -crappy memory), but didn't know about the long time one! Not even with a wild guess would I have come close to that! (In my head? It just sounds so right?)

Ya our dog is NOT good at recall at all. He is NEVER off leash (except in house). I don't understand how that is such a hard thing to grasp? Even if they DO have excellent recall, in non-dog park/walk areas etc, I believe they should still be leashed.

I'm homebound (95%) so most of my interactions are hubby, son, & online.
Lately when I struggle, I'll say (usually out loud) "I'm on the struggle bus today". And I have NO CLUE where I picked it up??

So, is this a BAD thing to say?
I like it because it helps remind me I'm NOT alone in my struggles!

Yesterday I had a pretty decent sleep, not great, but not bad.
Tonight? I was asleep around 9? And other than the billion times a night pee breaks, I was doing great ... So. Tell me. WHY. THE. FUCK did I decide 1 am was the perfect time to wash my hair? What?

We got a full medium sized garbage bag FULL of his fur. He only whipped his head around & growled ONCE, while I was working out some compacted fun near his bum.
Did NOT get a full grooming done. But for not having meds? I cried! So proud of him! We might get him done this year!

Anyway for whatever reason, my brain told me I HAD to try grooming him. Son fed him treats (healthy stuff) while I used the brush and de-shedder attachments. (No meds, no nails! I wanna keep my fingers)

So we didn't want to add to his stress (and I already had a punctured finger due to his pain) with grooming. So we just let him enjoy the meds (yes we are to use it for pain management as well as grooming and vet visits).
Yesterday he was showing signs of feeling better! 👍

Got it last month? With tax return.
The test runs with him went GREAT! He had no issues with the noise (noise has never bothered him), and almost enjoyed the brush? Unfortunately, plans to try a real groom had to wait (he has bum issues, even HEAVILY medicated vets can't check!!)
