I hit the part of winter where a 60 degree day and direct sunlight just might solve all of my problems.

I went to the dentist today and was told that I had no new cavities, but that I needed to get 3 fillings replaced.
I will continue to pay for the hubris of youth for the rest of my life.

I always assumed that I would die feeling disappointed, but not like this.

Now is a very good time to remind us all that if a person tries to hide behind the “I’m just doing my job” line while they are enforcing unjust policies and laws than they are either a) complicit or b) a coward.

There’s going to be a lot of cis people — allies, lovers, etc. — wondering what they can do to help trans people, and honestly I think one of the biggest is going to be galvanizing other cis people to recognize and support us, especially those who don’t actually know any trans people.
