Johann Christoph Altnickol was Bach's favourite student. He didn't just marry Bach's daughter Elisabeth, he stayed with his master right until the very end.

After a long absence, Dorothea will reappear in the closing episode of the series.
Overshadowed in the history books, Dotty was likely the quiet pillar of the #Bach household.
Her return is a tribute to those women who carry so much on their shoulders, often unseen, but never unimportant.
