As excited as I am for the Mets this season (I mean, I always am) I also don’t blame anyone who is still skeptical or frustrated.

It’s easy to be very low on Sean Manaea entering 2026 but I think he’s a pretty safe candidate to bounceback. I think he probably peaked as a Met in 2024 but he was pretty obviously not fully healthy and don’t see why he can’t be a well above-average starter.
