CARRY ON, a movie on Netflix... is the new Die Hard.

It was amazing.

Superman actor, David Corenswet's Grandpa is the inventor of the CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE series of books and authored over fifty of them.

Perhaps the biggest reason I became a reader as a young man... between those books and comics.

I'm not lying when I say that I teared up watching @jamesgunn.bsky.social 's new Superman trailer. It hit on all levels. That kid with the flag. Pa Kent. Krypto. Superman saving the girl from the exploding propane tanks. Brining an electric guitar version of John Williams' score.

When I was a kid...
I'd look down from my window onto a full sized window painting of superheroes displayed by VARIETY COMICS at Western & Wilson in Chicago & make up stories.

They went out of biz in the mid-2010's.

I own 1 of the signs they displayed when I was a kid.

In my freakin' living room!

Not gonna lie... last few years... Christmas has been stressful.
